{"id":3248,"date":"2022-05-17T17:11:08","date_gmt":"2022-05-17T16:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whiteroseproject.seh.ox.ac.uk\/?p=3248"},"modified":"2022-05-17T18:22:11","modified_gmt":"2022-05-17T17:22:11","slug":"oxford-german-olympiad-winners-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whiteroseproject.seh.ox.ac.uk\/index.php\/2022\/05\/17\/oxford-german-olympiad-winners-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Oxford German Olympiad Winners 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are delighted to announce the winners of this year&#8217;s Oxford German Olympiad White Rose Project Prize! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Olympiad is an annual nationwide competition run by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ogn.ox.ac.uk\">Oxford German Network<\/a>, an initiative by the German department of the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, University of Oxford, dedicated to productive cross-cultural cooperation involving schools, cultural organisations, businesses, and policy-makers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The judges were extremely impressed by the skill, enthusiasm, and thought that had gone into this year&#8217;s entries. We are grateful to Dr Hildegard Kronawitter, Director of the White Rose Foundation in Munich, for again assisting with the judging as well as members of our graduate committee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we asked students to write a blog post in German about a quotation that inspires them. We asked them to consider how that quotation might inspire others to make the world a better place. You can download and read the winning entries below.
