We are delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Oxford German Olympiad White Rose Project Prize!
The Olympiad is an annual nationwide competition run by the Oxford German Network, an initiative by the German department of the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, University of Oxford, dedicated to productive cross-cultural cooperation involving schools, cultural organisations, businesses, and policy-makers.
The judges were extremely impressed by the skill, enthusiasm, and thought that had gone into this year’s entries. We are grateful to Dr Hildegard Kronawitter, Director of the White Rose Foundation in Munich, for again assisting with the judging as well as members of our graduate committee.
This year, we asked students to write a blog post in German about a quotation that inspires them. We asked them to consider how that quotation might inspire others to make the world a better place. You can download and read the winning entries below. We will also be featuring them on our blog!
